
Asome project, is the project designed to advocate for girl child right to education with the aim of improving girl’s secondary completion rate by 5% in Mara region by 2024.
- At least 40 female teachers are provided with TOT- topics including life skills, gender, and social norms.
ACTIVITIES
- Develope awareness raising messages for different audiences. ( community members ie. community/traditional leaders, parents, adolescents, religious leaders)
- Organize monthly social dialogues through public meetings
- Disseminate sensitization material through social media on weekly basis

1. Empower community to overcome social cultural norms leading to school dropout of Young Girls and adolescents (YGA) through raising awareness
2. Empower secondary school girls to demand their rights to education by fighting against harmful cultural practices leading to school dropout.
